Greenwich Gold Apiary was founded in 2005 by Carl Marinaccio, a fourth-generation beekeeper with a lifelong passion for apiculture. Under his leadership, the company manages thriving honey bee colonies throughout Fairfield, Westchester, and Otsego counties, blending centuries of family tradition with modern, sustainable practices.

Beyond the apiary, Carl is a dedicated leader, family man, and community advocate. He is a proud father of four and volunteers his time with the Boy Scouts of America, the Knights of Columbus, and Sacred Heart Parish. A former Division I athlete and avid mountain biker, Carl brings his competitive spirit and love for teamwork to the local youth sports community, serving as a coach for Greenwich Youth Lacrosse and the Greenwich High School JV lacrosse team.
